How we are operating as a COVIDSafe show

We are so excited to have delivered the Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow, where you compared and explored everything in one place.

Safety and wellbeing of all consumers, exhibitors, staff and volunteers is always our number one priority.

The 2021 Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow operated under a strict COVIDSafe plan, that was approved by the Victorian Government. This means that there was some changes to what you may have been use to doing at our shows. Including new capped numbers for each day, Each day the Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow could have 7,800 people at any one time, and 12,000 people per day. Please ensure you follow us Facebook at Caravan Industry Victoria and also like our event so if there are any updates required- such as the need to que, you will have this information on hand.  

All visitors will needed to follow the COVIDSafe practices detailed on this page and follow all requirements as outlined by the Victorian Government as they are when you attend the show. 

Caravan Industry Victoria follows the Victorian Government and Victorian Chief Health Officer's guidance and requirements to keep the Supershow COVIDSafe. Caravan Industry Victoria and ALL Exhibitors have COVIDSafe plans which are in-line with the Victorian Government requirements.

We are keeping you and everyone COVIDSafe when attending the Supershow:

  • Online tickets ONLY. All tickets will be electronic and must be prepurchased. There are no ticket sales at the show. BUY TICKETS HERE
  • Tickets will need to be scanned to access the show and to exit when you leave.
  • If you need help to buy tickets on the days of the show, there will be staff at the gates to help you. If you are having issues online, you can contact our ticketing company via email - info@oztix.com.au or Phone - 1300 762 545
  • Everyone MUST check-in – via our QR Code for each day you attend the show for contact tracing purposes.
  • Hand sanitiser and PPE will be available at each entry gate and inside the show, should you need some. Regularly wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitiser.
  • COVID Marshalls will be roaming through the venue to help everyone keep COVIDSafe.
  • Practice physical distancing. Stay 1.5 metres away from other people who are not in your immediate family or group.
  • Signage will be around the venue to help you know safe distances, entry and exit points, and where first aid is located.
  • Regular cleaning and sanitising will be conducted.
  • Exhibitors will be regularly cleaning and sanitising high traffic areas.
  • Follow all directions of Supershow and security staff whilst as the show, including traffic flow.
  • Follow the COVID Safe requirements for Exhibitor sites within the show including:
    • The maximum capacity allowed on a site at any one time.
    • follow the signs for designated entry/exit points
    • the maximum capacity allowed inside a Recreational Vehicle (e.g caravan, motorhome) at any one time.
  • There will be designated areas for sales/contract signing

Extra notes for 2021 ONLY:
For 2021 ONLY some of our favourite things needed to be put on hold/ or removed. We plan on having everything back in 2022. It is to ensure safety when cleaning areas and items, reduce the number of touch-points and ensuring there is social distancing within the crowds. All exhibitors who would usually utilise areas such as Parcel Pick up are working on alternative options for you and your larger purchases. 

  • We have a brand new event app! There are no showbags, event maps, brochures or Passport to Freedom Competition entry flyers for 2021, however we have a brand new event app which will have all of this in it! You can read more on the What's On page.
  • No live group demonstrations for 2021 ONLY- to help stop crowds gathering.
  • No golf cart transport* for 2021 ONLY.
  • No Parcel Pick-Up.
  • No Innovation Hub for 2021 ONLY.
How you can be COVIDSafe:
Stay at home if you are unwell - please for the sake of our event/s
  • Feeling unwell.
  • Showing symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19).
  • Awaiting a coronavirus (COVID-19) test result.
  • Have otherwise been directed to self-isolate or quarantine.
  • If in the last 14 days you have been in a declared COVID-19 affected area or been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

COVID-19 Alerts and Updates:
  • Caravan Industry Victoria- the event organiser is constantly monitoring all Victorian Governments announcements and alerts. The Association will make any adjustments as needed to ensure we deliver a COVIDSafe event. We ask you to follow our event page via Facebook to stay up to date with any urgent announecments. 
  • Please follow the directions of Security/Supershow staff. Regular announcements will be made during the show to remind all attendees to maintain physical distancing and to practice COVID-safe behaviours.
​If you feel unwell at the Supershow:
  • If you are feeling sick or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 when you are at the Supershow, please immediately notify security or a Supershow event team member. They will help arrange for you to receive assistance from a medical personel and help keep you and others as safe as possible. 
FAQs
  • Is there a risk in attending the Victorian Caravan. Camping & Touring Supershow?
    • There is a risk of the transmission of Covid–19 in any environment where people gather, however we have conducted a Risk Assessment to minimise the risk to attendees. We have also met with and been approved by the Victorian Government and the Health Department on our plans which has meant changes to our event.

  • What if I feel unwell or experience symptoms of COVID-19?
    • If you are feeling unwell or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 when you are at the event, immediately notify gate or event staff and they will take to you to the isolation room where you will be looked after by a medical professional.
